Terms of Service

InfluencerUnion lists brand collaboration opportunities — some posted here by brands, others found on brands' own websites and public job boards — and lists creators with data from their public channels.

• We are not a party to any deal between a brand and a creator. We do not take a commission on what a brand pays a creator, and we do not handle those payments.
• Listings found elsewhere are summaries with a link to the original. The brand's own page and terms decide what the programme actually offers. We check listings, but we cannot guarantee that every one is current or accurate.
• Creator figures come from public platform data at the time we last refreshed it.

• You must be at least 18 and able to make a binding agreement.
• Give accurate information, and keep access to your email account secure — it is how you sign in.
• Only claim a channel or brand you own or are authorised to represent.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

• Apply only to opportunities you can actually take on, and describe your channel truthfully.
• Disclose sponsored content as the law and the platform require (for example the FTC Endorsement Guides in the United States and the Competition Act in Canada).
• Your agreement with a brand — scope, payment, deadlines — is between you and the brand.

• Post only real opportunities that you are authorised to offer, and describe the pay and the work accurately.
• Pay creators what you agreed, on time.
• Use messaging only to discuss collaborations. No bulk unsolicited messages, and respect a creator who declines or blocks you.
• Comply with advertising and consumer-protection law for the campaigns you run.

• Fake listings, fake profiles, or pretending to be someone else.
• Scams, unpaid “trial” work presented as paid, or requests for payment from creators to apply.
• Illegal, hateful, sexual or dangerous products or content.
• Harassment, spam, or collecting other users' contact details for purposes other than a collaboration.
• Scraping the site at scale, or interfering with its operation or security.

You keep ownership of what you post (profiles, listings, applications, messages). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it in order to run and promote the service, for as long as it is on the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

• Paid plans are monthly subscriptions at the price shown on Pricing, billed in advance by Stripe and renewed automatically until you cancel. Applicable taxes are added where required.
• You can cancel at any time from your account; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• We will tell subscribers about a price change at least 30 days before it applies to them.
• Features we describe as “coming soon” are not part of what a plan includes until they are released.
• Posting opportunities, receiving applications and contacting creators are free for brands.

The site, its design, data compilations and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the site for its intended purpose; you may not copy, resell or build a competing database from it.

The service is provided “as is”. We do not promise that any opportunity will lead to a deal, that any brand will pay, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything a brand or creator does or fails to do, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 Canadian dollars. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

You will compensate us for claims caused by your breach of these terms or your use of the service.

You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where reasonable. The sections on content licences for posted material, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue after closure.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there], and disputes go to the courts there.

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and email account holders about significant changes before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
