Is this a real labour union?

No. IU is a creator collective, not a union under labour law. We do the parts of a union’s job that work for independent creators: standard terms, shared rate data, and backup when a brand doesn’t pay.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, in one click from your account. Member benefits last until the end of the period you paid for.

Do brands pay to be listed, or members to be ranked?

Neither. Paying never buys exposure: it never changes matches or the order of opportunities, at any tier.

How is my rate floor worked out?

From your channel’s recent average views and your category, using IU’s published pricing method. It’s a floor to negotiate up from.

Why do I need to claim my channel first?

Membership attaches to your creator page: your member card carries your channel, and brand contact details are for verified creators.
